Mayuka Furuhashi is a recent graduate of the Publishing & Writing program with a concentration in book marketing and designing. During her time at Emerson College, she developed her designing and illustration skills, especially with Adobe Suite Software, as you see in her design samples, including an exhibition brochure, a 60-page long magazine, and a children’s book. The Japanese native has also dedicated her skills to local non-profit organizations, as their Graphic Design and Marketing Interns. In her free time, Mayuka educates herself, learning design basics, such as typography and color theory, and practicing video editing. After the completion of her second master’s degree, Mayuka is pursuing her career in the publishing or designing industry.
